I'll admit from the start, I was not sure how this film would fare. The trailer and the principle is not really much to me and although I liked most of the other players were Cameron Diaz generally not up to his promise early comic.
But when I saw and I am quite amused. It's fun, entertaining, and apparently no morals. That's really what it says on the tin proverbial, and he should be congratulated, and all errors.
Diaz plays Elizabeth Halsey, who was forced to return to work on his master, dead apparently against his will after his meal ticket boyfriend finally realizes just for the money.
Once there, fighting with the teacher colleague, Amy the squirrel (a round delicious nut Hot Fuzz, Lucy Punch), rejects the advances of the gym teacher, sights to Russell (Jason Segel), and sets substitute teacher in the Rich, Scott Delacorte (Justin Timberlake), who, behind his right mind innocent facade, has a penchant for large breasts, which encourages them to ignore Halsey their way to the $ 9,000 needed for breast surgery . And that, folks, is almost the same.
Yes, it's a thin plot, but bad teacher is not a twisted thriller. It is a concept rather than a story, and generally does well, almost with the right combination of a well-deserved laughs, comments in bad taste and strange characters.
Also appears to be the next official franchise Bad (hereinafter, Bad Santa). I'm all for the careers of seemingly benign hosting Mavericks. Ideally, the next will be bad Zookeeper. That said, however, there is certainly no Bad Santa, if you expect that. It has some flaws that prevent it from being a must.
What I liked was that actors were almost uniformly excellent, though almost always play characters in a note. Really is not much character development or even lead to Diaz. That said, however, this is not a bad thing.
Sometimes people do not need to learn a lesson or grow as a person instead of remaining the same people who were always crap.
Of particular interest is Jason Segel, again layered charm man in the street to win with only a slight advantage. He is adorable and relatable in most things he does, and bad teachers are no exception. As mentioned earlier, Lucy Punch is the major freak in this movie, and his teacher, but never really bad, the public does not love someone and be a little nervous. She has a face made for comedy nervous.
Timberlake plays, perhaps more a note of all the characters, but a few scenes well, especially one involving a shark ace and slaves, and proof that he is happy to pass on and make fun of himself . It is also the best line of the movie, or at least one that made me laugh the most!
Finally, Diaz was good, although his character does not reach the levels of sociopathic tendencies or I swear I expected. But nevertheless, having no real morality itself, or worry about them. She seems to get away with all his behavior in the film, and I'm not sure if it's something brave or stupid.
A bad teacher is always fun, but never reach the heights you could hope for it. Seems to suggest that it could always go beyond that in which the bad taste in the odd line here and there, but unfortunately it comes with a lot of pulling his punches.
With an environment as conducive to an exploration of poverty, alienation, and downright evil as a school, in fact, managed to portray the place as an institution very pleased with the worst case can be an inappropriate statement of the love to a girl who is quickly resolved.
I do not blame all the movies for being too nice, but I think it's a valid criticism here. This does not mean there is not much fun to be had, though. I would like to see him again, and probably laugh again. Just not out loud, and you should be in this kind of comedy.
Although not a classic, bad teacher has restored my faith in a short comedy by Hollywood vehemently against the mouth of Part 2, he gave it. A lack of stand-out moments and instantly quotable lines do good rather than merely excellent, but due to cast and performances, I can forgive him that.
Unfortunately, however, that in summer when the maids of honor and horrible boss is competing in the comedy crown, I see Bad Teacher makes the grade.
